The English classes

Written by Alex Mercadé (Senior Camp)

We start classes at 3 o’clock and we finish at 6 o’clock. The first hour we do grammar and then we have the break time. We have fifteen minutes for break time. When we finish the break time we go to the class and we talk about the Olympics games. These days we are doing expositions of sports of the Olympics games. For example I’m doing the exposition of taekwondo that it’s similar at judo. In grammar we talk about irregular verbs and we do an exam and in the last exam I did eight out of ten. After this we do some exercises of grammar but sometimes this grammar is about football. But when we arrive to the English class we first play a game called “pistolero” that consist in one person is in the middle and he turns around and points someone in the circle. Then the person in the right and the person in the left have to say the name of the person that was pointed. I won two times this games and I like it!

Senior Skills tournament

Written by Pablo Navarro (Senior Camp)

On saturday 7th of July at the evening we went to the football pitch to do a skills tournament. The tournament is based in a variety of games. First we do partners to collect the ball for the next person. The first one was divided in two parts. In the first part you had to arrive to a place doing touches to the ball, if the ball fell you had to start in the same place where the ball felt. We had two chances, The second part of the first variety consisted in kicking the ball between two cones twice, once with the right foot and once with the left one. The third task was shooting three balls in a cercle. The fourth was to dribble through a cones trace without touching any of them. Un the fifth we had to shoot the ball in to a cercle. The sixth was similiar at the shooting one. The seventh and last consisted to score a goal from the corner and we had two chances. By the way, I won the tournament!

Arrive in time

Written by Marcel Pagès (Senior Camp)

It's very important to arrive in time to the different places of FCStage. For exemple we have to arrive in time at the breakfast, at the dinner and at the trainings. Also is very important to arrive in time for the teachers because they prepare the exercises with an estimate time. To respect our friends we must arrive on time because if we don't arrive in time they have to wait us and that isn't a good thing. Also is important to rest at the time because if, for exemple if we go to bed at 1 o'clock and we wake up at 8 we only sleep 7 hours and that's a very little time. Another example is that if we spend to much time in the room we will arrive late at breakfast, dinner or training. If we arrive late at dinner and lunch we will have our food cold and then it will be worst than the food of the other people. So for us and for the other people we must arrive at time.

The rooms are very nice, they are wooden. At half past eight we had dinner. First we had spinach pie. We didn't like it but we had to eat it and then we had breaded meat with potatoes and was very good. After the dinner we tide our clothes in the cupboard and then went to bed.

USA vs Australia

Written by Enric Esquerdo and Pol Robusté (Junior camp)

On wednesday evening at 19:30 we played a match, USA vs AUS but we delay the match because it rained and the referee said that the match should be played the next day, on Thursday.
On Thursday during the English class it started to rain, and we thought that the match was not going to be played, but one hour later stopped raining and we went to the hotel. AT 18:30 we went to the football field to play the match. The match was leveled at the first part, but later Axel scored one goal to Australia. At the second half we were already leveled but we didn't score a goal, Australia had a lot of opportunities and a penalty, but we didn't scored because the goalkeeper was concentrated. This match was very exciting.
